Roy man accused of molesting 2 girls over 10 years

ROY — A Roy man has been booked in jail after being accused of sexually abusing two girls. 

Eric Gordon Fell, 37, was booked into Weber County Jail at 7:44 p.m. Wednesday on one charge of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony. 

Roy Police Detective Josh Taylor said the girls’ mother told police Fell had been molesting both of the children for the past 10 years. 

Taylor also said Fell is a member of the Utah Army National Guard. It was unclear how long Fell has been a member of the military or his rank. 

As of Thursday afternoon, Fell is in jail custody and is being held on a $63,000 bail.

Formal charges were not filed against Fell as of Thursday afternoon, according to online court records.
